Frequently Asked Questions

ATM400

How to develop Street Candy ATM400

Street Candy ATM400 should be processed as Black & White Negative film. Processing information can be found in the datasheet for most common developpers. For unlisted developers and pushing/pulling processing, we recommend following the chart of Ilford HP5+. More information on the Massive Dev Chart. ⚠️ When handing over your rolls to a lab, make sure to mention that we use recycled film canisters if they process black and white film in machines. Automated minilabs may jam if the tape gets caught into their gears.

Can I push Street Candy ATM400 ?

Yes you can! We recommend pushing ATM400 up to one stop (ISO 800). Beyond, contrast might increase too much and risk of loosing shadow details.

Does Street Candy ATM400 has DX code ?

No, at the moment we use recycled film canisters, meaning our film doesn’t come with DX code. When shooting ATM400 with point and shoot camera, if you can’t set the ISO manually the camera will most likely expose it at 100. You can either add +2 stops using the Exposure Compensation feature of your camera if possible, or pull the film during development. Please note that pulling film may decrease contrast.

General

How to store the new recycled paper packaging

Our new paper tube boxes are made of solid and thick recycled carton, which provides a sufficient isolation to store your film in a dry place without any risk for the emulsion. If you plan to store the film for a long period of time, or live in a humide environment, we recommend placing it in a ziplock bag inside the fridge. Make sure the bag is perfectly dry inside and well sealed.
